Had my boot respayed after some kids hit it with some stones, got my car back with the badge on the wrong side, how do i remove the badge without damaging the paint ! or would you leave it ?

Hey mate, the best way is with fishing line I found. If you get behind the badge and sort of scissor away the adhesive, the badge should come off. Then its a case of rubbing away the adhesive and putting the badge back on. Although I'm not sure what you would use to stick it back on with that would be certain to last.

its been back at the paint shop 4 times and every time i take it back something worse happens so i'd pefer not to. If its a easy fix i'll do it myself

Yeah it easy, just takes a bit of time. I cut my bloody fingers with the fishing line when I did some badges previously. Hairdryers I've been told work well.

defo take it back to the shop, they will think your being arsey, but then again, its there to be fixed is it not!!

Tbh I tend to think try it yourself.

This why you won't do any damage to the paint, as I could well see them taking a screw driver to it!

use a hairdryer mate. hold the dryer over the badge for a while, pointing it down at the adhesive, this will make the glue tacky and ull be able to just tease them off with a credit card or sumthing, not much force required.

then a quick polish to get shot of the residue.

gutted...

all it needs now is a 1.2 engine...

or better still a fiat/ford or any other non renault car...to go on the back of
