Sport Cat pass MOT?

Hi,
thinking to get sport cat,
what is the lowest cell per sq inch cat to pass MOT on clio 172?
has any1 from you passed mot on 100 cell / 200 cell cat?
thanks for any info
thinking to get cheap universal one from ebay and adapt it to fit

182's came with a 200 cell cat as standard, so no reason a 172 with a 200 cell wouldn't pass.

200cell no problem but 100 cell as said get it hot before you take it there but dont rag the snot out of it as it will make it worse. Goes open loop fueling at wide open throttle and high rpm

So 200cells will pass and 100cells if Im lucky and hav run before mot,
What about engine managment light in both cats? Will that stay off? Any experience?

The KTR 200 cell cat on my 172 brings the emission light on occasionally.

200 cell on mine - running Jenvey ITB's - absolutely flew through the emissions test
100 cell as people have said you'd need to get it pretty hot first. But TBH when you can run 220+bhp on a 200 cell I have no idea why you'd want a 100cell

I got to buy cat as I cant use my 172 cat as cat is too long to fit on 182 gap as Im in the midle of putting 182 4-2-1 manifold, so thought to buy universal one fit that gap and adapt it to fit bolt on

You put a 182 manifold on your 172?

Afaik you can get an adaptor to make a 172 cat fit K-tec sell the i think.

KTR sells the adaptor cat (which is 200cpsi). Got that fitted.

Depends on the quality of the catalytic converter i'd say.
