Sport Xenon on Non Sport...

Went to scrappy today to take apart a 172. £30 for each headlight. Long story short the passenger side one was smashed on the inside so auto level was broke so headlights were a no go.

However.

we took one off, took it over to my ph2 53 plate 1.4. Plugged it in and nothing?
wouldnt turn on?

the headlight was complete and works on the 172. Would've thought straight plug and play with what I've read on here??
the only thing I could think of was maybe I needed both to be plugged in at the same time to work??

Only needs one plugged in, did it deffo work on the 172? Could be a faulty ignitor, ballast or bulb, moreso if it got knocked a bit before being fitted to yours.

No idea why it didn't work! Took it back off mine and then plugged back into the 172 and fired it up.. Worked fine back in the 172! Completely clueless! Unless he didn't plug it in right in mine?

Are you the one who's also done a rear disc conversion?
