I'm thinking of changing my K Tec coilover kit to a suspension set up that gives me the option or opportunity to stiffen up the ride as i'll use the Clio on track.
I've been looking at coilover kits from various companies and most of them are only ride height adjustable (unless you spend well over 1K or i'm missing something)
Does this mean that the dampers (Bilstein) are a lot stiffer than say a K Tec setup. I had Koni yellow uprated dampers before the K Tec and i liked the idea of adjusting the dampers to make them stiffer. To give me the optimum ride height i just fitted lowering springs.
To be honest all bar K Tec allowing me to drop the front end a little more i actually liked the Koni dampers for the option to stiffen up the shocks.
So, where do i go from here.... Back to Koni or will a Bilstein coilover setup be stiff enough from the get go??
Discuss?
