Spot lights

I want to convert my foglights on my 172

i want to use them for spotlights so that when i go to full beam they come on

is this possible?

used to have these on my impreza RB5 , same as ones on the P1

Would be far more useful than the foglights!!

I got pulled for driving round with my foglights on when it wasnt foggy? will they not pull you if you have them on? or are riving lights different???

I like this idea - because if it just comes on with your full beams then whats the problem theres no way your get pulled dont know how you do ti though but would be interested to find out

Fog lights used as driving lights would serve little, if any, purpose as the spread of light is too poor to be of any benefit in normal driving conditions.

As edde says, I wouldn't bother to be honest.

i'm also interested in (eventually) doing this - the lamps will need replacing for driving units though. they make a massive difference to lighting if you get it right.

Driving lights are legal but do you fancy keep getting pulled and queried on them? Just leave them off.
