You will need a compressor, regulator and gun. Ive got a couple of spare guns, you can have one for 20 quid posted.

suction fed are the ones ive shown in my previous link, basically the air comes through the airline and creates a vacuum inside the gun, this then sucks the paint up through the tube in the pot and out through the nossle.

gravifeds are what it says, gravity fed.

the pots are on top of the gun and they work by gravity. the air comes through, you pull the trigger, the paint drops into your airflow and onto whatever youre painting

well yeh you still need a compressor and air line, and of course all the usual products, various Wet n dry, panel wipe fluid, Lint free cloths etc etc...

is there an inbetween product? better than a rubbish spray can but not as costly as a full spray gun kit.

you can get handles for spray cans which are handy, make smooth application much easier, theyre cheap but help you make a much better job.

just looked in my local motor shop and they used to sell them but said that they didnt really sell very well so they stopped selling them =[

if i was to get the whole propper set how much am i looking to spend?

to do it propperly alot, thats why bodyshops are so expensive, the cheap shite ones are just that shite, ideally you want a nice HVLP gun (£100+), but its ALOT harder than rattle cans, main skill is setting the gun up correctly
