Spray painting.

Got myself a cup spoiler at the weekend and was wondering what the best way to paint it is. It is in mint condition and im spraying it monaco blue so the mondial would probably be ok as a base colour. Am i able just to paint over it or does it need to be primed first? Thanks.

I'm no pro but as far as i'm aware you can just key it with some wet and dry (or similar) and off you go.

I'm sure a guru will be along soon..

is the paint ok?

if it is, just give it a wetflat with P800, P1000 or P1200. or a grey scotchbrite if you have one.

then basecoat - laquer
