its greyish, you dont have to remove the bumper to remove the grill ?

no you dont mate,there just some screws and clips you have to undo if i can remember

If it's just the normal plastic, don't paint it for gods sake.

If it's painted greyish, buy a new one, and don't try painting it.

I sprayed mine matt black, as I was sick of using tyre shine on it. Doesn't look any different, except now it doesn't discolour
