Spraying Engine Cover?

Looking to spray mine tomorrow, do I need any heat resistant spray or will normal spray do? not sure if the cover get's really hot as I don't want the paint to start cracking

Nope should be fine with just normal water base or solvent. i usualy use ceramic lacquer when im doing engine covers.

i just used normal bodywork paint for mine (see my thread in images for my first attempt at painting!)

just used water based and normal laquer on mine and its fine, been done well over a year now too so has been subjected to all that would be throuwn at it
