How long should you leave it for the paint to try before you drive the car again. Its only small areas being sprayed??

got a hot hair gun or hair dryer?

should be able to drive it in half hour-hour with heat

Aint got any - would a day of sunlight do the trick (i.e no rain or moisture)??

air drying can take a couple of hours, a day is more than enough.

just leave it a couple of days before you start polishing it
