Spraying side badges HELP

  Clio 200 & Golf GTD
This has probably already been posted but I am having problems spraying the 2 litre badges using can paint. I have sprayed wing mirrors and other plastics before no problem but these are been a pain in the arse.

I have sanded them with 180 and then 320 grain and cleaned them up then when I use a plastic primer (also from a can) it is bubbling up. I think it might be contamination causing it what does the experts think?

I was stupid enough to proceed with the paint and guess what the bubbling showed through lol. I have now used paint stripper to clean back to plastic and don't want to get it wrong again so pleas can someone help :)

2.0 litre ones are plated a thin metal mate over the plastic, you'll need a metal etch primer first, then a normal primer once its 100% dry. Make sure you degrease them very well, esp round the letters. We sand blast them with a very very light grit here, as they are an utter pig to sand and get good adhesion to.
