Spraying Speaker Grill

Car  Liquid Yellow 182
Im thinking about spraying my speaker grills, would i need to sand down first? Or just spray them the colour i want then add laquer?

I'd recommend sanding, even if you're not looking to flat them out, putting a key in the plastic will mean the primer will stick better.

But as said, a Plastic Primer, then the pain then the laquer

I painted mine myself and gave them a light rubbing down and then primered and painted;
