Springs and wheels

Well lads, I am lowering me 2000, 1.2 clio 60mm are Pi springs any good if not what are the best ones??? Also where can I find light weight wheels like on that yellow valver???

KDF

  Audi TT Stronic

Well super Ls are lightweight, but I dont think they make them anymore, if you want really lightweight get magnesium wheels !

Cant help you with the 60mm PIs but I think most 1.2 owners have gone for coilovers when lowering that much.

Pi are a popular model but coilover are the best realy

K-tecs coilover seem to be very good pricy (~£500) but you pay for what you get.

Think I will get the springs for the time being then get coilovers when I get the cash together., would you have to get updated shocks if droping 60 mm on springs??

No a few user have had 60 installed with no problems after a year (then they change the car or get coilovers).

The shocks arnt the best so uprated ones would be better but you dont need.

It will shorten the life of the normal shocks though

the lightwieght rims youre after are made by a company called rimstock!theyre prorace 2s i think!

for light wheels youll pay big money for forged rims but OZ super leggeras are a popular choice! fairly pricey but nice and light! they seem to be pretty popular on here so getting pics for an idea shouldnt be a prob!
