Springs & Shocks - Fitting myself?

Got a set of springs/shocks coming in this week for the car (mk3 1.2) and was wondering how big or small a task it is to fit them myself??

Any guides about?

fitted my springs at the weekend. its pretty simple task. just quite time consuming
