Well the new clio is based on the under pinnings of the new Micra, and there was a Micra-R mid-engined one running around recently, so maybe they could base a new v6 clio on that???

Yeah I know, for now, when the Renault 5 Turbo 2 finished there where no plans to make another, but after a few years along came the clio V6, so maybe after a few more years either a mid-engined clio (micra) or a mid-engined Megane may come along?? who knows what the future holds?

we can live in hope.....

Although the current V6 will be running along side the new Clio for quite a while. So us younguns might be able to snap up 2nd hand 2006 Clio V6s in the many years to come :d

andy - the v6 doesnt interest me, its just not enough of a supercar to warrant that price IMHO

it looks stunning yes, but its just not good enough

The V6 is hardly "Supercar" price anyway?????



stunning looks at the fastest clio Renault make and they can be had new for £23k these days if you shop around, they are not expensive, only cost about the same as a 350Z and are just as fast...lol

When I told my mate I was getting a clio, he said "what, they are womens cars", changed his mind when he saw it though...lol

but lets not get into another v6 255 bashing again, or it will last for many pages, just like the last one did...lol

yes simon, lots of cars interest me, however im not in a position where i need a car, therefore dont own one, would rather keep the money in the bank saving for my move to australia than have it rusting away on the road

i have a 205 gti lined up for some summer fun, as i plan to spend most of my 23 days off per 5 weeks on a track, but the car will be sold at the end of the summer, as ill go back to cycling everywhere

its just a personal thing that i dont think the v6 is worth the money, you obviously do, thats your choice, and one i respect, so lets no harp on about it
