Hi all,
Its been a while since ive been here! Ive been reading and keeping up with the forum but bot posting, mainly because of time and ive had no problems.... until now! Ha
I travelled from durham to Wembley the other week, some 500 miles ish to watch the england v peru game, and ever since ive got back ive had this creeking noise that is coming from behind the front right wheel. It gets worse when I turn left full lock, also happens on right full lock but not as bad. Not when stationary only when moving.
Ive had the wheel off and when I turn the hub it will squeel. Same happens with the wheel on. I can spin it back and forth and it sqeak everytime. At the point of rotation.
After taking the wheel off I listened and tried to pin point where its coming from. I first suspected the breakdisc, maybe it being warped or cracked but it was fine, or the break pads, but they seemed fine. The noise seems to be coming from the pod in the centre of the shaft in pic 1. Im 90% sure its this. Is it possible for this to creek when turning and moving
