Squeaking and rattling noise

I have an 2000 172 and a squeaky rattly noise has been coming from the drivers side of the engine bay. Its been getting progessively louder and i can now hear it from inside whilst sitting at junctions/at idle etc, even over the exhaust note! Any thoughts please on what it is, what needs to be done to fix it and how much?

there is a engine bracket bolted to the head that sometimes comes loose have a look at that.its near the brake fluid reservoir area and is a gold coloured bracket(used to attach engine cranes etc)

sounds like a moving part mate, timing belt? i dont rightly know

poss the aux belt idler wheel or tensioner.changed a few for being noisy.
