Thats right i got my mot tomorrow and not looking foward to it...Im helping my mate to mot it so i got a sneaky look at the emissions today and they were fine,but it looks like i might need a few bits to get it through...we had a megane come in this morning for its mot and it failed badly..all the tyres were less than 1.6mm,emissions off the scale,cracked windscreen and it had no handbrake action at all,and it was only an 05 plate aswell

Had my MOT today, Front left balljoint needs doing, Funnily enough had the same front left done last year. I asked the MOT tester if any of the fronts had been done, He said no. So i think ive paid last year for the ball joint to be fitted and it wasnt.

Theyre having me over. Getting me dad to come with me tomorro and have a word.

Is there much chance i could have nackered a brand new ball joint in a year? Theyre are bumps in my area but still?

Hate MOTs. Wont be using this garage again after this.

Yeah MOT time is dreaded all the time for me with my Mk1, always something wrong with it which i cannot afford to replace straight away.

got mine in a week or 2 W REG 1.2 going to change backbox this weekend its knackered otherwise i think it should fly through only 44 000 miles and brakes just done and in mint condition

She failed......both cv gaitors had no grease in them,left handbrake cable snapped,and the emissions failed today,yet yesterday they were good..so had a look at the exhaust and there is a tiny hole in the centre section...still got all day tomorrow and the full use of ramps and tools to get it all sorted..the joys of having a mate that owns a garage

My phase 1 went in 2 weeks ago,handbrake cable was all it desired.

Not half bad for a 8 year old Renault!

My valver flew through it's MOT this year, no advisories I knew it would pass with flying colours but was still nervous about it :S

Not bad for a 14 year old renault

Got to feel a bit sorry for my mate, the MOT on his vee is up this month, nothing cheap to fix on that bloody thing, but f**k him :rasp: he's rich

Well it passed today...second time of asking though,also got new pads on the front and retracked,it feels so much better....thanks to boxer motor company
