squeaky clutch

when i press my clutch pedal in with hte engine on or off there is a squeak noise in the same lace and it seems to be coming from the engine bay

Pedal mechanism? Or perhaps is it one of the pulleys that the cable will travel over on its way to the throttle body??

I had exactly the samething on mine. The sound originated from the pedal assembly itself. Apparently theres a rubber seal or something on the back of the pedal which gets loose and needs refitting. The squeaking stopped after about three or four months! Dont know whether it fixed itself or what but the clutch seems to be working fine.
