squealing belt/pas pump/alt!?

a very very annoying squeal/chirping noise has devloped recently, some days its fine, others all the way to work, and others it goes after 5 mins,,

its the belt end, but i really cant pin it down ( how usefull! )

either the belt / pas pump / alt / or even the cambelt?? hmm?

ive re-tensioned the aux belt, and its abit quiteter on idle but rev it a tiny bit and it returns! doesnt really sound like its slipping tho,

the pas fluid has been pissing out the bottle quite alot recently,,,,


soo,, any ideas?

does it squeal when applying steering lock?

on total full lock it does sometimes,

but normal steering has no effect with this
however it does piss its fluid out, and when its low, it groans like mad!

its odd how some days its totaly fine, i should make a vid of it, its a horid sound!

the belt itself is not that old, grr!

mine seems to be the bearing on the alternator, i went round it all squirting with dw and found it was a bearing!!
