sometimes in the morning when its cold or it hasnt been started, when i start it for the first 30secs, i get a squeeek! like the belt is slipping then after 30 secs it jsut goes.... take it its the aux belt. how hard is it to change ? im pretty nifty with the old spanner set like

Yeah defo fidley, had it done when had the cambelt done. Need some special kind of tool to pull one of the pulley down. It has to fit in this tiny hole. Been told when Renault do it, they just have the front bumper off, and drill this hole bigger so they can get a socket or something in there. Yeah belts about £15.

take the front offside wheel off and wheel arch and bumper , the sqeaking is somtimes to do with a worn guide pully, the belt is self tensioning so prob wont be that how many miles has it done, i have a guide whats your email?

I just had my aux tensioner replaced by ClarkieV6 and bar the cost of the tensioner (if that's not been done get it done, 47 + vat though for the part) and it was a half hour job for him, add on the cost of a belt and it's not too much.
