SRP & EGP Question..

  Fiesta ST3
i washed - SRP - EGP - my car about a week ago, today is the first time i have washed it since and i must say how impressed i am by how the water beads up :approve:
but my question is i want to get some more EGP on it now but will i have to SRP it again or will it be ok to wash then apply the EGP??
if i do SRP it again what affect will this have on the previous coat of EGP??
still abit new to this so please excuse me if this is a stupid question:quiet:

yeah was kind of hoping to get a responce from rich:star:

he is without doubt the cs car wash and wax expert..

  Better than yours. C*nt.
If you SRP, if used properly will remove all of the EGP from the last attempt, or if you just half-arsed job it then it'll take most of it off.

However, if you just EGP over the top you'll start getting a nice set of layers built up that will last months...

After the intial application of the SRP and EGP, you can just wash an add a layer of EGP in you desire.

Looks wise when you get about 3 coats on there it seems to stop looking any better and then it is worth thinking about topping it with a pure carnuba wax for additional looks.

As said SRP after the EGP will remove the previous layer of EGP which in most cases is not what you want. Only do this if there is defects in the paint you want to fix.
