Stalling and not starting

One of the guys at work has an R reg 1.2 Clio.

He said the problem he is getting is that when sitting in traffic the car cuts out and wont start again for about 15 mins. At first I thought..overheating but it sems to be that it is not getting any fuel throug ..I.e it turns over but wont fire and there's no fuel coming through.

Fuel pump in the tank? Relay or something I thought it could be?

sounds like crank sensor to me, mine had exact same prob

crank sensor controls spark and fuel i think so would explain why your not getting fuel

Mine had the same problems. I had all sorts of faults diagnosed for mine.
