stalling and pulling off prob

was drivin to pick the other half up before and stalled it at the traffic lights :dead: went to start my engine on again nd it wouldnt start after a min it started nd i drove off. now though when settin off in first it struggles then goes again (feels like someones pulled me back then lettin go) also does it when i change into 2nd car genarally feels crap and sluggish. its done the not starting thing a few times when i first start it in the mornin or even when i turn it off at the petrol station. can any1 help thanks

Check the starter motor. I had this issue on my 1.2 and it was because the spade connector is plastic and it cracked. I changed it for a metal spade connector and it solved the problem.
