Standard 172 16inch alloy tyre?

Just bought a set of 4 refurbed 172 alloys for my little 1.2 of danny d172 cheers mate,

I want to put quite a low profile tyre on, and seen as im buying coilovers in the very near future i'd probably like a small amount of stretch?

Any help and suggestions would be good thanks

195/45 R16 is the standard tyre size. With 7 inch wide rims it can be argued that the 195 width is a little stretched because 195's are usually specced for 6 or 6.5 inch wheels on other small sporty hatches. Presumably Renault wanted to give the 172 a stiff tyre for lively steering and to maximise grip, and this seems to be what you are asking for also.

See i want a bit more than that i think, but finding someone to fit tires with that stretch may be hard
