does anyone know what one of these is actually worth? was offered £250 cash collected. seen a post on facebook for £375 . just been to local scrap yard but they offered £60 because they couldn't read the c code because its too pitted/rusted. does anyone know what the c code for one of these is?

Try a wire brush on the code and see if you can make it easily readable.

i put a wire wheel on a grinder for 10 mins but not much better

Yea looks to be the one.

Try spraying a little WD-40 onto the metal, it might help show the numbers better.

Wd40 didn't help. Soaking it in white vinegar tonight, see if that helps.

Gutted I drilled my original one out last year when it collapsed, I had no idea they were worth so much, i bought a brand new cats2u one for 100 quid lol

He'll recognise it just from a picture.

Can't remember his name, stick a post up in the group and you'll usually have two or three names with an idea of price.

I ended up sending it to him, he sent me the money the day I said I was posting it via PayPal so I had it before posting.ill see in a few weeks if its still there but he messaged me when he received it so seems genuine so far
