Standard Airbox vs Fatty Induction Tested

Biggest gains seem to be at 2500-3000rpm

Is that the flat spot l have heard mentioned on the standard car? I am guessing it was to pass emissions.

To remove cold start crap idle and get the car to drive smoother throughout the range.

Flat spot is associated with the 197/200 brigade.

Still annoys me that people call it a fatty induction kit, espically as everyone’s is totally different, different filters, different u bends etc

Good to do a test though, like it :)

I’ve had so many different induction kit setups on various 1*2s over the years, ph1,ph2,v6,ktec,homemade, price aside ktec was still the best due to the single piece of reinforced silicon it uses, put whatever filter on the end.
