Bought a 182 a couple of weeks ago, and noticed the rain sensitive wipers did not work (just acted as normal intermittent). Took it back to Renault dealership, who said it did not have them fitted, and pointed out that the sensor that should be behind the mirror was not present. I questioned how this could happen, as they are a factory standard fitment, all they could suggest was that the screen may have been replaced and the sensor not refitted.
This seems highly unlikely to me, anyone any thoughts?
It has occurred to me that perhaps the car is imported from a country where this is not standard, is there any way to tell ?
