Megane 225 Turbo
Hi there,
I recently renewed my insurance through a different company than before, whereby it asked me for an immobilliser make, to which I answered "Standard Fit" which Im 99% sure it has? Surely all cars do nowadays.
It's a 57 plate Clio 3 Dynamique SX. Upon receiving my policy documents yesterday morning it asked me to provide proof of my "Renault Silv V2PTS" immobiliser fitment. I never called it that when I got a quote, but I have seen it referenced as that in previous quotes, yet never asked to provide proof.
How would I go about actually providing proof that this is fitted? If it's standard fit? Am I right in thinking I have an immobiliser? I assumed so as my old black 1.2 55 plate Clio 2 did. I thought all new cars from god knows when had basic immobilisers and that it was controlled by the key?
Any light shed on this would be great. I'm tempted to ignore it as Ive got the policy documents but I'd rather not with something like car insurance.
Cheers.
