just wondering what connection points are there in the back of a standard 1*2 cd player?? eg. phonos

Also is it worth keeping the standard stereo in, if i was going to amp the speakers and a sub???

I have one here in front of me and there are no phono's or pre-outs of any kind.

you would need a 'line-out converter' (think its called) to add pre-outs for a sub/amp to the standard h/u
