standard headunit

Can anyone tell me who makes the standard head unit??

i only ask cos i was thinking of changing it for a blaupunkt job, and thought that they tend to do alot of standard car units?? and it might retain the steering wheel remote!??

anyone got any ideas/suggestions on the matter?

Philips perhaps? I think you can get an adapter for your steering wheel remote for use with SONY and someother make of head unit.
