Standard stereo comparison

Morning all. How does the Renault cabesse cd player from a 182 differ from the standard 40w dynamique stereo. I need to replace mine as its making chewing noises whenever i eject a CD. I want a standard unit so it works with my stalk and cd changer. Is the sound quality any better? I have upgraded speakers in the doors and rear pods.

I don't think theres any difference personally I'm led to belive the unit is the same just the casbesse unit has a sticker which relates to the speakers. However someone did tell me it is a different unit. Part numbers of the units will be different as one has the sticker but if it has a diferent part number it doesn't say if its any better.
I think there are better aftermarket stuff you can get and ou can get adapters so the remotes work with them (the sony one as fitted to the A class merc is one which works)
