Standerd cd player

how do you take the standered cd player out?
and can u run amps and subs from it?

yes you can but itll sound pants cos unless you buy bass blockers for the front and rear speakers (youd lose your rear speakers anyway) when you turn the bass up you will get the bass coming through the speakers also.
Upgrade,dont be tight.Worth it in the long run.four nails in the four holes and then angle them out and you can pull the unit out

You need a pair of release keys that go in the small holes on either end,



and you can run an amp from it, but you need a high level output adaptor, like this.

Only if you hammer them in.........

All you are doing is releasing 4 tiny catches to release the unit from its mounting cage, then it just pulls out.

The proper keys lock in to help provide a handle to pull on, but a wire coat hanger or nails will do the same thing if your careful.
