Starter motor where

Got a few probs with the starter motor on my 172 Mk1 not working sometimes. Anyone know where it is in the engine bay?!? - is it by the manifold like it was in my old R5GTT?

Yep, still in the same place ! Bit of a bugger to get to though.

If its working intermittantly, try removing and refitting the small white wire going to the solenoid. They tend to cause this sort of problem.
