Starting problem

Hi.

I have a Renault Clio 1998 1.2 three door...

Over the last few days my car will not start up without bump starting or jump start...

If I leave the car for an hour or two it starts up first, but if i leave it any longer (for example I left it 3 hours today) it would not start...

When I turn the key the dashboard lights come on and the radio but it will not start the engine... I can hear it trying to start but it will not start up...

Any suggustings as to what this could be?

Damp spark plugs? Get a can of WD40 and spray them.
Worth a try.

Could be battery on its way out or alternator
