starting problem

hi sometimes when i start my 172 it cuts out straight away then takes a good few turns to start again then sometimes just takes a good few turns before it starts... it doesnt make any difference if its hot or cold... any ideas thanks.

Changed/Cleaned the TDC sensor?

Mine does the same and apparently the in-line fuel filter gets blocked a lot on 'em. Not a clue what the f**k it is though!
