Std Airbox vs Hillpower IK

Right, got various things fixed this weekend but also a Hillpower IK and heatshield fitted (cheers to david16v) so thought id go out for a blast...

Anyway, the car still feels quick but can anyone comment on whether thered be any power loss compared to the std airbox?

Doesnt seem to be any and the noise is something else but would really like to know for sure.....Thanks!

Ill let ya know when I get my Williams back.

I used to have a Green Induction Kit.. but now just put an original Airbox on - seems like the "lost" torque I had has come back!? Altho, I aint driven very far at all!

I know I didnt used to have the HP Kit.. which, might solve the problems I had with heat under that engine bay.. but itll be interesting to know!

Not got any pics of it on mine but its identical to this one (adis?);

Engine doesnt get that warm any more - i fitted a low temp fan switch at the weekend too and now the water temp doesnt go above the first mark anymore.

I used to have a K&N open cone but went back to the std airbox for the extra go. As i said, the HP IK doesnt "feel" any slower but id like a second opinion! The test i gave it yesterday didnt exactly help as i was driving for noise (50miles to a tenner!) and not concentrating on whether i could hit the same speeds as before.....
:D
