does anyone have a guide on how to make a stealth shelf, as i would prefer to make one than buy one tbh.

Only bother making one if you're already good at that sort of thing. I'm a fairly hands on person and tried making one for my 106, ended up buying one because ot looked aweful!
If its for 6x9's dont bother, alot better to upgrade the front speakers and amp them. 6x9's are a short term solution to the long term problem of poor OEM audio

I made one for my old clio and you couldnt tell there were speakers there, not quite as sly as the stealth shelf because it doesnt have the indents but...
If you just but the 6x9's in as you would normally (drill them in from the top of shelf) then just got to a fabric shop and buy a sheet of the closest type of material they have to the fabric of your shelf and staple/glue it over the top.
