Steelies to Alloys ...

I've currently got steelies on my standard mk3 clio (below)
and have wanted to put some wheels on it for ages but being 17 and all insurance is a bugger ... however someone told me if i put renault wheels on it may be cheaper or not cost at all! but is this true? and how would these look on it :) ...

You'd be ok with Renault wheels, but they'd need to be the same alloy that would one on your model anyway.

I'd imagine 16's.

Ring them and say 'I've been offered some wheels ffrom a sport Clio, how much would it cost to put them on?'

It's what I did with my bumpers and suspension and it came back as £34 :D

Youd also have to buy some stud adapters, can't remember how much they are though

Wheels are 5 stud so won't fit without adaptors. Also they aren't standard size. Insurers still won't like it.
