Steering angle sensor reset procedure

Hi All,

I have recently replaced the steering angle sensor as the SERV and ESP lights were lighting up frequently. However, I was not aware that the sensor requires a 'set up' procedure!!!

Now, the SERV, ESP, and ABS lights are on from key on.

These are the steps I followed during installation (if it helps): 1) disconnect battery 2) remove airbag and steering wheel 3) replace sensor 4) assemble via reverse steps.

Any help / guidance on how to 'set up' the sensor? Please, be as analytical as possible...

Via clip i believe? Not entirely sure but sure I've read that somewhere

The sensor needs calibrating to the car once it has been zeroed in installation.
