Steering angle sensor, wanting lights!

I've changed the steering wheel over on my 182 a few times, never had a problem with warning lights but now the traction control light and service light are on, plugged it in and said its the steering angle sensor?

Am I right in saying the clear window has to have the yellow circle in view for it to be right?

The indicators still cable themselves at the right time

any help appreciated!!
