Steering angle sensors...?

Hey...

The other day i noticed that my service light and airbag light had come on...so i no a someone in renault and has them put it on the machine and it came up that it needs a new steering angle... i was just wondering if anybody knows if they are hard to fit and if they need to be coded to the car...?

I only thought angle sensors were used on cars with ESP? but I think its part of the rotary switch mate, pretty easy to fit and not coded to the car, Hope this helps!

ok thanks for that mate.... so which part is the rotary switch.... is it just the bit that spins round???

yes only on ESP cars

The rotary switch is the part behind the steering wheel, which the lighting switches bolt to.
