steering fault ??

every time i turn my steering wheel at slow speeds and at a standstill there is a horrible crunking noise , happens when i turn either way !

any ideas people !

Power steering pump? Does it do it when at a standstill, on the move or both?

I've got the same thing with mine! Just taken the pump off and putting a new one on 2morra. Will let you know if it sorts the problems.
