steering noises

I seem to get some noise when i turn the wheel when traveling slow, it is like a creaking noise it might be nothing but does anyone else get this?

Yeah I get that too at slow speeds, sounds like it's coming from the column immediately behind the dash in my 172.

strange, i've only noticed mine since it was lowered... Is everyone else's lowered or stndard?
