Steering Problems

  Falcon, P1800
I have recently bought a 182 Cup with 54K.
Wheel alignment was badly out and corrected.
New lightweight race wheels and Khumo V70 215/45/15 tyres.

Ran car in a hillclimb and had great difficulty keeping it on the road. Australian Formula 2 champion then drove it and had same difficulty.

Back to a dealer to check out - nothing they could find.

Car is great in a straight line - sweeping corners no problem.
Problem comes when you push one way oand then rapidly change direction (eg quick right then left). Steering seems to load up and over assist so you are forced to do a quick correction that seems to take a lot of effort.
The problem is there at low speed - but at race speeds it is diabolical.

Any ideas??
