Steering Query

The steering wheel in my 172 wobbles left and right when around 30 mph and the steering is rather vague. It doesnt appear as bad when at higher speeds. I suspect a tyre is unbalanced and the tracking needs looking at however could there be anything else at fault?

any balancing weights fell off the wheels?

Erm... they dont have any weights on any of the alloys (inside or outside the rim). Should they have?

Yes, unless you have the worlds only 4 perfectly weighted alloys or something :rasp:

I'd take it to a garage and get the wheels balanced. Or if you need new tyres wait til they get done and have them all done then.
