steering wheel controls

ive had my 172 for just over 2 weeks it came with a sony hu but the steering wheel controls dont work any one no why also got a cd multi changer under seat also dont work and ideas ??? thanks

Because the steering wheel controls and CD changer are standard and you dont have a standard HU in. You need to buy an adapter for the stalk to work, and i dont know how to make the changer work!

Alternatively. Buy a standard HU.

I don't think so no.
You can make the changer work with your sony head unit i think though. Same with the stalks

Ye. The cd changer will work. Pull the headunit out and on the back it should have 2 spare inputs where the clips go in. It will plug into one of them. Although, alot of people have said getting the cable out of the car for the Cd changer is a bit of a pain.
