Steering wheel swap

hi,

I'm sending my wheel off to be refurbed. Can I fit a non cruise control steering wheel to my 182 ( It has cruise ) or can I leave connectors under airbag and no fault codes come up etc. As ones without are a lot cheaper.

Just swap the cruise buttons onto the new wheel, one screw holds on each button.
