steering wheel volume controls not working with alpine headunit ? HELP !

ive bort a alpine head unit with all the leads for the volume stalk but were does the lead actully go to ? its a fairly long lead , apart form that clios all the way !

All depends on which lead you've got.

One connects in to the radio harness and then uses the mini yellow plug then plug the mini jack in the back of the radio

The other uses a port underneath the radio screen in the top of the dash (which means you need to remove the top half of the dash to insert) and plug into the back of the radio.
