one ov the rubber hand grips on my steering wheel has split and the rubber is crumbling away. has any1 had this prob and will it b covered on warranty?

Should be covered under warranty. Loads of people seem to have had problems with them.

Get the warrenty claim in, common problem as said.

mine has done the same,trouble is my dealer rekons mine is an iscolated incident,ive spoke to renault uk who wernt that helpful.I have just written a letter of complaint to the manager of the dealer in the dorset/hampshire area and am awaiting his thoughts on the matter,with the letter i gave the replies to the thread i posted about a week ago to show them this is a common issue,as yet i cant get mine done under warrenty but i havnt given up!!!..if i was you mate take it in sooner rather than later the more milage you put on they will try and claim the wear and tear issue thats what i got..not happy!!

I got mine changed at something like 50k and the dealership didn't know me at all its a common failing.

Same happened to mine.. and got it replaced by warranty.. although did have to keep hassleing them until it was done..
